Wanger Jones Helsley PC is proud to be a major sponsor of the La Feliz Guild’s 10th Anniversary Derby Down fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Central California, which is being held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 on the infield at the Fresno Fairgrounds Racetrack. All proceeds raised from this unique and entertaining event go directly to Children’s Hospital Central California in order to help fund the hospital’s efforts to prevent child abuse and to treat its victims throughout the San Joaquin Valley. “We are again proud to support this very worthwhile cause”, said Wanger Jones Helsley PC shareholder Kurt F. Vote, adding that this year’s event is already sold out.  Derby Down recreates an authentic Kentucky Derby experience for the 750 attendees, complete with Southern food and beverages, Derby attire (including hats for the ladies), and pari-mutuel wagering on a variety of races leading up to the annual Run for the Roses: the Kentucky Derby.
