Benjamin C. West
Mr. West is a shareholder at Wanger Jones Helsley PC and a member of the firm’s Employment and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Mr. West’s Employment Litigation practice focuses on advising employers of all sizes on policy and internal investigation compliance and representing them at every stage of litigation and arbitration proceedings involving purported wage and hour violations, misclassification, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation. His Commercial Litigation practice focuses on representing businesses and individuals in disputes between partners/shareholders and disputes involving property rights and alleged breach(es) of contract and fiduciary duties.
Mr. West received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2013. He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2018. During his time in law school, Mr. West served as Executive Notes Editor for the Hastings Law Journal, competed as a member of UC Hastings’ Moot Court team, and externed for both: (i) the Honorable William H. Orrick, United States District Judge of the Northern District of California; and (ii) the Honorable Erica P. Grosjean, United States Magistrate Judge of the Eastern District of California.
