Hunter C. Castro
Hunter C. Castro joined Wanger Jones Helsley PC in 2018 and represents clients in municipal and public agency law, land use, employment disputes, and business litigation. A significant portion of his work involves serving as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Mendota, where he advises the City Council and staff on regulatory changes; prepares ordinances, resolutions, and contract; attends public meetings to advise legislative bodies and staff; coordinates code enforcement efforts; and assists with California Public Records Act compliance, Brown Act compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
Mr. Castro also regularly provides trainings to legislative officials and agency staff. In addition to his public agency work, Mr. Castro represents private clients in civil litigation matters and regulatory proceedings involving land use and employment law issues.
