Mr. Vote practices both commercial litigation and real estate transactions, which allows him to offer his clients a unique blend of deal-making and dispute resolution. His litigation practice includes cases involving breaches of contract and fiduciary duty; creditors’ rights and remedies; partnership, corporate, and LLC dissolutions; unfair trade practices, and other business disputes. Mr. Vote’s Civil Engineering degree has made him well-suited to represent clients with a wide range of construction defect, delay, disruption, and related disputes. Mr. Vote also forms and maintains all types of business entities; prepares shareholder, partnership, and operating agreements; and represents both buyers and sellers of real property in all manners of real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, sales agreements, and option transactions. Finally, Mr. Vote brings his unique skill set and experience to dispute resolution by acting as a private mediator on select cases.

- Mr. Vote is a member and past President of the Board of Governors of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Mr. Vote is also a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Fresno County Bar Association. He has served for many years as a volunteer Fee Arbitrator as part of the Fresno County Fee Arbitration Program. In addition, he has been invited to attend the Eastern District Conference by the Federal Bar Association each year since 1995. Mr. Vote has been recognized numerous times as both a Northern California and Southern California “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers Magazine and is A/V® Preeminent Peer Review Rated with Martindale-Hubbell.

- Mr. Vote is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and of the Fresno/Madera County Building Industry Association. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the California State Parks Foundation, the past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fresno County Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, the past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Western Region of the American Diabetes Association, and the past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Infant of Prague Adoption Service.
