Nina M. Alvarado is an associate at Wanger Jones Helsley whose practice focuses on civil litigation, real estate, and business matters. Nina brings a strong research and writing background, experience in both consumer protection and transactional work, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex, document-intensive matters.

Before joining the firm as an associate, Nina worked as a Law Clerk at Clarkson Law Firm in Los Angeles, where she conducted in-depth legal research on consumer legal remedies, unfair competition, and false advertising, and drafted complaints, CLRA demand letters, punchback responses, settlement agreements, and proposals for resolution. She also contributed to client intake and investigations for class action matters.

Nina previously gained litigation and estate-related experience at Sullivan Law Corporation, drafting declarations, exhibits, memoranda, motions, and oppositions, and performing research related to estate planning and administration. At Powell Slater, LLP, she drafted and revised deeds of trust, promissory notes, forbearance agreements, amendments, letters of intent, and commercial lease documents, experience that built her foundation in real estate and business transactions.

Nina earned her J.D. from LMU Loyola Law School, where she ranked in the top 30% of her class, earned high grades in Legal Research & Writing, Contracts, and Civil Procedure, and served on the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. She was active in the Real Estate Law Society and Business Law Society. She graduated cum laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Psychology.

Nina’s interests include real estate, fashion, sports, classical music, and politics.
