Dolenar

Payton D. Dolenar is an associate at Wanger Jones Helsley whose practice focuses on general civil litigation, commercial disputes, and public agency law. Before joining the firm, Payton served as a Judicial Extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, where he supported the court’s work on a wide range of matters. Payton is also experienced in creditors’ rights and post-judgment collection.

Upon his graduation from law school, Payton was inducted into The Order of Barristers, an honor awarded to law students and attorneys who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. He competed on BYU Law’s traveling trial team, representing the school in the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition.

Payton earned his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Economics. He is proficient in Spanish and is passionate about serving his community, particularly through efforts that support homeless and at-risk individuals.
