Shawnda M. Grady

Ms. Grady focuses her practice on water rights, natural resources law, and litigation. She advises clients on all aspects of surface water and groundwater rights as well as state and federal regulatory frameworks governing the use and management of water resources. Ms. Grady regularly represents clients in regulatory proceedings and in state and federal courts involving water law and environmental issues.

Her practice includes participation in comprehensive groundwater adjudications and other complex disputes affecting water supply and resource management. Following law school, Ms. Grady served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stanley R. Chesler of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Steven L. Lefelt of the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. She combines strong litigation experience with a deep understanding of environmental regulatory systems affecting water users.
