WJH attorney Deborah Boyett spoke on Estate Planning at this year’s Senior Law Day held June 29, 2019. The annual event is hosted by San Joaquin College of Law. Ms. Boyett covered topics including the benefits of having a Will and a Trust, the process of handling a decedent’s probate estate, conservatorships, and recent changes in the law.
Ms. Boyett is a frequent speaker on estate planning, business succession planning, and elder issues. She has a keen interest in the legal needs and planning opportunities of the “boomer” generation born between 1946 to 1964. She assists business owners and principals with corporate formation matters and business structuring, including both for-profit and non-profit entities. From estate planning, asset protection and wealth transfer planning, Ms. Boyett particularly enjoys assisting “boomers” with planning for the future.
Ms. Boyett will next present on Estate Planning at the U.S. Small Business Administration, Emerging Leaders Program. The presentation will take place on September 18, 2019.
