WJH was well-represented at the American Heart Association’s 2019 Central Valley Heart & Stroke Walk and Lawyers Have Heart Run this year as the huge crowd of participants wound its way around the Tesoro Viejo master-planned community in Madera.
The annual Heart and Stroke Walk is the American Heart Association’s largest local event each year. As always, WJH helped fundraise for the event, and several of its employees joined many other local businesses and thousands of individual walkers and runners to participate in the two-mile walk and timed 5k run. In the months leading up to the event, WJH held many fundraising events to help contribute to the American Heart Association’s $340,000 result.
WJH is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association and its events. The American Heart Association is working to improve the heart health of all Americans by twenty percent, and reducing deaths from heart disease and stroke by twenty percent, by the year 2020. All proceeds from the event went toward the American Heart Association’s goal of funding innovative research, advocating for stronger public health policies, and providing public health education to the local area. Thank you to everyone who helped support this great cause this year!
