Sequoia Council of the Boy Scouts of America awarded Wanger Jones Helsley shareholder, Riley C. Walter, with a Perfect Scout award for his pro bono services to Sequoia Council in navigating through the complex, national Chapter 11 case of Boy Scouts of America.

Walter has represented Sequoia Council since 2020 when Boy Scouts of America filed Chapter 11.  He advised Sequoia Council on the bankruptcy issues up to and through the confirmation of the BSA Plan.

Sequoia Council is one of 248 local councils nationwide and covers Fresno, Madera, Kings and Tulare Counties, providing programs to build citizenship character and leadership skills to boys and girls.
